The occurrence of hämorrhoiden and its treatment options

The hämorrhoiden  formation involves the vascular network present in the anal tubular structure comprising the last part of alimentary canal carrying out the blood circulation function in the area, besides functioning to control the stools evacuation. There is possibility of one or more blood vessels suffering pathological changes. Prior to occurrence of pathological changes it provides cushioning and supportive function in making the comfortable evacuation of the stools.
 
The symptoms presented by pathological hemorrhoids have dependence on its type. The internal hemorrhoids in their normal course are painless with presence of rectal bleeding, whereas the external hemorrhoids depict painful experience in the region of anus.
 
The basic principle involved in treating hemorrhoids is enhancing the fiber intake in the diet as well as increase in water intake so that there is proper hydration available. Use of non-steroidal analgesics, sitz bath two to three times a day and now increase the resting period. The surgical treatment is the last resort in case the hemorrhoids are not responding to other treatment options.
